Hello Every-one and welcome to the very frirst Top Job Roofing blog, we thought it would be good to give a little diary account of some of the teams interesting jobs and some general advise and tips on how to look after your roof and gutters. Also a few pointers on how prevent a spot of bother turning into a bigger trouble!
Well, after a slow and bitter cold winter the guys are more than happy to see some warmer weather, they have been working on some really interesting developments, such as a refurbishment in Aldernham Village which is a charming little place with a Church at its centre. We specialise in traditional refurbishment new for old in the same style, in this case we used some new Welsh slate with clay fittings and traditional lead flashing detail which was very pleasing to the eye as the property is still displaying the features of the traditional property so we were able to achieve a fluid finish from the original building. It is always nice to do specialist work with crafts men and architects and along side all our other day to day work of new roofs, flat roofs, lead roofs, repairs and maintenence.... Not to forget the odd animal or bird stuck in a drain or a pile of leaves causing trouble!
So Spring is here at last and we are really looking forward to some good jobs and also some interesting projects. Pop back in and take a peak as next time we be giving some tips on how to look after your roof and gutters.
Until then if you have any queries or would like to discuss any problems you are having with your roof please contact us at 01923 250216
